Next to the castle, in the gardener's house, a hotel invites you to relax from the city rush and enjoy the romantic surroundings of the castle. The landscape park is small and surrounds the castle from horse stables to the Gardener's home hotel. On the side of it, there is the Birds' Garden, but in the middle of the park, there is an oak of Love, in the branches of which the bells of Love ring, donated by Newly-Weds.

Along the wide stone stairs, we reach the gazebo on the shore of the lake. So many of the castle's guests here have captured themselves in the photos, and the newly-weds have promised each other everlasting love on their wedding day!

The Watermill road along the Dzirnavu lake leads to the old Watermill, where the Museum of Ancient Things with a pub in the summer season cozy coexists.

While sipping a cocktail on the wooden terrace in the lake, you will be able to see how the fish swallows up each lump.

In wintertime, we invite you to "lēze" - an ancient merry-go-round on the lake.

If you apply in advance, you will be met by the campfire, hot tea, and sauna.

Bīriņi castle is built after architect F.V. Hese's project. It is the most impressive semi-circular building in Latvian palace architecture. The common architectural solution of the house is attributed to neo-Gothic, but the window boxes play a significant role in the overall image of the castle - characteristic of the semicircle style. Thus Bīriņi castle stylistically can be viewed as a unique merging of two styles. It has also earned the recognition of contemporaries and is nowadays regarded as an example of unusual architectural thinking. The building was rich in decor - sculptures, moldings which were lost during World War I.

The castle retains its neo-renaissance interior decoration - the entrance hall with a double-sided wooden staircase, dining room with cassette-wood ceilings, and glazed tile stoves.
